EFERRING to my Communication of the 2d December last‘on the subject of the suspen- sion of Salary of Mr. Alex. McNeill, District Teacher, Lot 40, I beg to intimate for the in- formation of His Excellency the Lieut. Governor in Council, that the said Mr. Alexander McNeil! is again recognized by the Board of Education as a licenscd Teacher, as he has complied with the order of the Board, by disavowing, under his hand,in presence of the Board, his connection with the Organization known as the Tenant Union I am Sir, Your obedient Sev’t. From TIGNISII to PORT HILL, Semi-Weekly, with ahorse and Gig or Waggon; to leavo Tignish on such days and such hours of such days as may be appointed, for Port Hill, and to return the following day, calling at the several Offices on the way, both going and returning, for the purpose of receiving and delivering mails.

Between LOT 56 and NEW PERTH, Semi Weekly. Tenders will be received for this service to drive from either end of the route, if from New Perth, the Contractor to leave that Otiice immediately on arrival of the Mail from Charlottetown, and to return by half past nine o’clock the following Monday.

Betwen ROLLC BAY and BAY FORTUNE. to leave the Office at Bay Fortune on such days as may be agreed on, to meet the Courier from Charlottetown at Rollo Buy, and on receipt of Mails to return immediately to Bay Fortune. ’

No Tender will be received unless accompanied with the signa- tures ot'two responsible persons who will be accountable for the faith- ful performance of the service tendered for.

Nova. Scotia- __ FOG TRUMPETS 0N SAMBRD AND CRANBERRY ISLANDS.

NFORMATION has been received at the Admiralty, that Fog trumpets haVe been placed on Sainer and Cranberry Islands near the entrances to Halifax harbour and the Gut of Can-id respectively. Each blast of these trumpets will be offwe seconds duration, with intervals of twenty seconds, and in calm weather may be heard at a. distance varying from 6 to 10 miles.

. West Indies—Gulf of Alexico. Fixed Light at Entrance to 'l‘anipicc River.

Also, that a fixed white light has been established at the entrance to Tampico Rivor, and in clear weathershould be seen at a distance of about 15 miles. The tower stands on the north point of entrance to the river, and is said to be in lat. 22° 16’ 45” N., long. 97° 47 West of Greenwich.
