On September 17, 1965 rela- tives and friends of William V. (Bill) DeCoste of this city were saddened to learn of his death in the Charlottetown Hospital after a@ short fliness. He was born in Charlottetown, July 30, 1899 con of the late William and Adeline DeCoste.

He attended Queen Square School. He served in the first world war and went overseas with the second seige battery. |He was a member of the occu- ipation army in Cologne, Ger- | many. ; ; ; : On return from overseas he joined the postal service, where he made many friends. He was Regimental Sergeant Major of ithe old P.E.I. Highlanders. He received a number of decora- tions for his overseas service.
