Coach MacNeill does have considerable respect for his team‘s upcoming opponents, but he is also confident in the abilities of his own players. He rates this year's UPEI team as slightly stonger than the one he coached last year to an undefeated regular season. Last season's weakness, he declares, was inexperience, a problem that the passing of time has done much to cure. Another positive ,factor is that the l979—80 squad, unlike its predecessor, has faced strong opponents before the playoffs. The result is that the Lady ' Panthers appear prepared for whatever may face them.
