"I mould think you would be tired of asking questions," replied Johnny Chuck.

"If I didn't ark questions. how would I find out things?" asked Peter.

"Why should you try to find out things that are no bualneu of yours?" asked Johnny Chuck.

"What I know won't hurt me, but what I don't know might," re- torted Peter.

Johnny Chuck looked very hard at Peter. "Just what do you mean by that?" he asked.

"It certainly isn't going to hurt me or anyone else if I know about your house." said Peter. "But if I didn't know about your house. there might come a time when I would need a. place to dodge into. and wouldn't know if there was one handy. That would be just too bad. I'm glad you're building a home over here. We'll be nearer neighbors now."
