Older sightings: Horned Grebe at Sea Cow head on May 17, 1994 (LH). Least Bittern reported on basis on call at Belmont Park on July 24th (LH,GH).

One Hooded Merganser at Grand River on Mar. 27 (LH). Two Wood Ducks in Donagh spring area last winter (BD). One Northern Goshawk on Sept. 23 at Cabot Park (LH). A Virginia Rail swimming at Cavendish Lagoons on Sept. 1 (LH). Elsie Mitchell reported seeing coots at Pisquid a few years ago. A Marbled Godwit at Fullerton's Marsh on Aug. 21 (DET). Two Black-billed Cuckoo at Skinner's Pond (LH,GH). One Short-eared Owl at Highway 20 in Sea View on Jan. 12 (LH). Wylie Barrett reported that on May 29th, 1994, he saw the first brood of Mourning Doves, the first pair having apparently 3 young and a single bird having 2. Janette Conklin seen a Pileated Woodpecker at Brookvale in fall of 1993. One Winter Wren at Indian River on Aug. 5 (LH). One White-breasted Nuthatch on Apr. 9 at Sherwood (LH). One Northern Mockingbird at Sherwood on Dec. 19/93 (BHa). A Marbled Godwit at Fullerton’s Marsh on Aug. 21 (DET).
