The Norway, P.E.I. blue whale has been buried. It took 3 front-end loaders and 2 bulldozers to do it. Possibly in 10 to 15 years you may see the skeleton in the Natural History Museum in Ottawa. When it comes to digging it up, I'd be a little nervous. There are likely to be some huge well-fed "critters" under the sands by that time who will not be inclined to "make no bones" about losing their own big blue whaleburger.
