The funeral which. was largely attended was held on Feb. 24, with a short service at the house thence to Dundas United Church for service. The services were conducted by Mr. Heber H. Hardy who spoke comforting words to the bereaved. Mr. Hardy was assisted by Lic. Gerald Mat- thews and a prayer by Mr. Sven Christisan. Hymns sung were, “Tae Lord's My Shephard,” and “Abide With Me.” A solo, ‘“‘Vh My Life's work Is Ended,” w beautifully rendered by-Mr. Wal- ter Burdett. wc

There passed away at Wain- wright, Alberta, on Feb. 27, 1959 Roger Blaine, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Taylor for- merly of Granville, P. E. I. Rog- er underwent a serious operation in July from which he could not recover God called his little one home on the above mentioned date. Left to mourn are his parents and two little sisters Car- olyn and Pamela also his grand- parents.

A bingo was held recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tous- sauit Gallant. Lamches were auc- tioned and a neat sum was -real- ized for the Altar Society.
