WOMEN'S CONVENTION.

The eighth annual convention of Women's institutes of Prince Ed- ward island opens in Charlotte- town this afternoon and. judging by the pgpgratnlne prepared. it will probably be the most iutporuult yet held. Sessions will be held this afternoon and evening and tomor- row morning and afternoon fin- lshingup with an afternoon tea at the Experimental Farm Thursday. Prominent speakers will address the various sessions and papers on important subjects will be read. Music will also be provided and preparation has been made to have an enjoyable as well as a helpful time.
