An enjoyable evening was spent in Kingston Hall on April 17th., when a crokinole party and bazaar was held under the auspices of the Baptist Missionary mlety: high scorers were Mr, Dan Jewell and Mrs, Gordon Jewell of North River.
Mrs. Myron Holmes was hostess to the Kingston Baptist Women's Missionary Society on Wednesday evening, April llth. The worship was period was led by Mrs. Calvin Holmes in keeping with the Easter Spirit. A uainty lunch was served by the hostem, and the remainder of the evering was spent in social intercourse.

The people of Glasgow Road and
that on the early morning of January lfith there passed away in the P. E. 1. Hospital. Mr. James Allan Mathrson, aged '70. Al- though he had been ailing for some time. no one thought the end was so near.
Jimmy, as he was known to all. was the son of the late Kenneth Matheson and Elizabeth MacDon- nld. He was born at Oyster Bed Bridge, having moved to Glasgow Road 30 years ago. and was a carpenter as well as farmer.
His wife, formerly Louisa Mar- Rae, predeceased him 30 years ago.
There are left to mourn three sons and three daughters, name- ly: (Hilda) Mrs. William Scott M Glasgow Road; (Katie) Mrs. Wil- liam Molyneaux, North River; and Vera Puget, Bermuda: Arthur. in Toronto, who with his wife, flew home for the funeral; John in Toronto; and Clifton on the home- stead, besldes eight grandchildren,
