The ninth game of the Town Lea- glle was played on Monday evening at the High School between the pyggbyterlnri and Trinity clubs, with me latter winning out by tne score of 9 to 3. The majority or the sets were evenly contested with several gclflfl into the third game.

In the ladies’ doubles, the Trinity learn were successful 1n winning all three events, D. Harris and E. Mor- risen winning from E. MacFarlane and E. Gay, 15-4 and 15-13. Mary and Martha Nicholson won from Mrs. Jardine and Mrs. Compton, 15-10 and 15-6; Z. Llnkletter and J. Nicholson won from Mrs. Schurman and Mrs. Wilson, 15-10 and 15-12.

In the men's doubles, Trinity team won three sets and the Pres- pytoriml team one. Bradshaw and owen won from Dr. MacMurdo and 1, MacKay 15-1 and 15-5: Brooks and Dr. Clark won from Compton and Daley, 15-10, 18-15 and 15-8; sheen and Monkley won from liar- lnon and Jardlne, 15-11, 11-15 and 15-0; H. Slamming three goals behind young "Had" Mclnnis, goaltender of the West Kent team, in the fin- a1 twenty minutes, the Summer- side High squad skated off with a 3-2 victory after a bustling hard- fought encounter.

West Kept started off with a rush and at the end of the open- ing period had garnered a 2-0 lead on goals by Earl Higgins, rangy right winger of the locals.

An evenly fought middle session went scoreless with both goalies giving standout performances.

Shortly after the start of the closing frame West Kent was on the receiving end of a hard break when Stuart Macklin shoved the puck into his own net in attempt- ing to clear, Hogan getting credit 101- the goal. It was s. tough break on the young defenceman, who had played a fine game.
