A lotof the work has already been done by the Carnival Executive but there is still plenty to do. If you are interested, come to the meeting next Manday, Jan. 16th, at 6 pm in Marian Hall lounge. 8 '

"Ihis year's slogan for Carnival is "'Ihere's no business like snow business". Carnival buttons go on sale next Wednesday at noon in the Student Union Office. Advance sale of tickets go‘ on at the same time. All events were sold out last year. So. . . .if you want to be sure of getting int events, you had better buy your tickets early. We estimate that all events will be sold out by Tuesday of Carnival Week. ,We have tried to keep admission _ charges as low as possible. All class meetings are scheduled for early next weele. Please attend your meetings. Each class must pick its queen and also find out what events they are responsible for during Winter Carnival.

N01, We could notbook Liverpool. They are not making a Maritime tour this year. Three of the four bands, we need are already booked but cmtracts are not signed yet.

What is needed the most for Carnival are acts and actors for Campus Cabaret. Joan MacFarlane, Drama Society Chairperson, is co—ordinator for this She may be readied at either the Student Union office or at the Education building. We need acts or skits.
