Frou Monrecal.~-The steamer Bona- vista arrived from Montreal this morning about two o’clock, bringing a large general cargo. She will leave this afternoon for St. John, Nfld via North 2Sydney. Her outward cargo will consist of 70 head cattle, 100 sheep and 4 horses o1 deck,and a large consignment if potetces and ether produce under deck. Mrs. Stavart and Mrs. Foote go as passengers.

SuirpesD From Svummersipre. — On Wednesday Mr. Chas. A. McNutt took away 18 sheep for Halifax and three horses aiso formed part of the cargo. On Friday Mr. J, A. Collett shipped a fine driver to Mr. J.D. Weldon, of Shediac, and on Saturday Mr. C. Kane shipped 24 fat cattle and a horse to Mr. P. Macdorald, of Bt. Jehn. Onthe latter day £00 bags of potatoes also formed part.of the cargo.— Pioneer.

Birren py 4 Horss.—The Summerside Pioneer save: Mr. James Pyrm, belonging to Cape Breton, and cook on board the schoener Samuel Drake, at present un- leading coal at Holman’s wharf, was badly bitten on the right shoulder by a horse on Saturday forenoon. The horse was attach- ed to a cart getting filled with coal and the cook was at the guy. He hac on an oil coat and that was torn to pieces. Dr. McLellan dressed the wound but Mr. Pyrm is suffering considerably with pain.
