1994 is full of exciting opportunities. This year, 4-H members are given a chance to apply for one $390 and three $1000 scholarships. This financial assistance will be awarded to the 4-H'ers who meet the criteria. Ata time when education is quickly becoming essential and the expenses for education are increasing, it is great to have offered this assistance.

YEARBOOKS ARE IN!!!

All the yearbooks up to and including 1992- 1993 are now in! If you want to pick up your yearbook(s), drop by the yearbook office during its business hours: Monday | 1:30-1:00, Tuesday 12:30-2:00, Thursday 12:00-1:00, and Friday | 1:30-12:30. If no one’s in and you don’t want to wait, leave a message in the door slot and/ or go to the Student Union office to ask any questions you may have.

Notice

The university is currently conducting an internal strategic review through the Academic Review and Planning Committee. Part of the internal review includes a survey of students to determine student awareness and use of services at U.P.E.I. This will take the form of a telephone survey, to be conducted during the week of March 9 to March 16. A market research firm will be phoning students at home and questioning them about their use of the services available at the university. Student cooperation in this survey would be greatly appreciated.

All students, full and part time, who expect to graduate in May, 1994, are reminded that they mustmake application for a certificate, diploma, or a degree. Application forms are available at the Registrar's Office and must be completed by Tuesday, March 15. The graduation fee must be paid by Friday, April 29, at the Business Office, as follows.

What's on at the Panther Lounge

The next two weeks are jam-packed with events down at the Barn. Starting off the week on Wednesday, March 16, our weekly jam night will be featuring “Clothing Optional”. The music starts at 9:30 and lasts until the wee hours of the morning.

Rise early Thursday morning to have breakfast and rush to the Barn to be here by one o'clock, since that’s when the doors will open for ST. PAT’s '94. Saint John band Windjammer will be playing in the afternoon, and a full three sets of good ol’ irish music at night beginning about 8:30 or 9:00. There will be plenty of green draft and tons of people.

Friday the Business Policy students will be celebrating passing in their policy projects, and you can bet they'll be blowing off some steam since those those projects are four months of purehell!!! This willalso bea suitcase pub. The Business Society will send two lucky people to Halifax to watch the CIAU Basketball Championship. The lucky winners and their hangovers will leave Saturday morning. Also on Friday night, the Vet College are hosting a “gathering” down at the Barn. Some Vet students have just finished eight exams and they deserve a night off to “relax”.

Saturday, March 19 is going to be yet another “Customer appreciation” night. This will be the last one of the semester, and if you've ever attended one you won't want to miss this one. Brian Dunnand Mike Pendergast (a.k.a. “Life of Reilly”) will be keeping in the Irish Theme of St. Pat's Day and will have everyone at their party best. Drink prices will be so low we can't print them!

If you can survive those four days you'll have to be one of the over four hundred people who will attend Wrestlemania X at the Barn on Sunday, March 20. The doors open at 3:00 and the action begins at 5:00. This Promises to ve the best wrestling event ever, so. get there early and enjoy our ten-foot screen.
