S., Charlottetown, showed uaa very handsome map of Summerside Harbor, prepared by himeelf from actual surveys This map shows the oyster area of the harbor, the survey of w hich he has just c ympleted. The oyster area is comprised withia the following boundaries A straight line from the Rail- way wharf to the Island Park, thence across to the Bedequs shore, along the shore to Huid’s Point wharf, thencs to Oyster Poiat, following the shore to the first named wharf.

A Halifax Sensation.

Hauirax, March 18.

A genuine sensation was created on Bar- rington Street last evening. Cries of mur- der in a young temale voice were heard, and the atreet being filled with people, a great crowd collected in an exceedingly short time. The cries issued from « build- ing formerly known as the Mansiun House. A man climbed to the balcony, smashed the windows, and alleges that he witnessed a case of atteinp ed imlecent assault. The crowd in the street saw a young man and a_e gil the window, evidently in a struggle. The hall door leading up the staire being locked it was broken open ‘ihe young man was arrested and taken to the police station and the girl was also taken there. A warrant was taken out agaiast the young man and he was ssat to the county jail—bail being refused. The accused ia John D. Dewolf, a well known young man who represents several Canadian
