A correspondent at Summerside writes : ‘*There were shipped to the United States from this port during the shipping season of the present year 15,400 cases eggs, valued | at $48, 663. lt is a difficult matter to as | certain correctly the number of our Island | hofses that tind their way indirectly to the United States. This year we did not take into account any horses coming by steamer from Charlottetown, in order to avoid hav- ing them accounted for twice.
