'Ihis road‘is nothing but an access road to Berna— dine and Marion, and it is the last thing to‘ be plowed in the winter. It would be nice as well if there was a walk frcm Blanchard to University Ave. instead of having to walk through (around) numerous mounds of dirt.

It takes 'typical' Island logic ‘to repave sidewalks .fromMemorial Hall, and then close the place down, when the only access to the Barn and Blanchard Hall are two well-used paths. ~

If the university planners are going to stick those two build- ings at each end of

Dear Editor,

No matter how hard they may say they're trying, the Student Union has done ab— solutely nothing to provide entertainment for the "un- der—age" students. Sure, , coffee shops are going to be promoted but they are boring. No one shows up at the dry pig due to poor ad— ,vertising. There are no

dances without liquor. When there is a dance, you have tos’neak past the security or get a fake I.D. Not only are you breaking the, law but you feel a little bit guilty as do among

246 students who really want to know what ,is to

be done about it.

immature acts. Recent damage has been extensive at Blanchard and these damages are paid through a CAUTICN FEE which we pay at the start of each year.

This caution fee is to take care of these expenses andattheendoftheyear we recieve whatever money is left over. If you are

caught by our DON'S, who work hard at their near impossible jobs, you will receive a nice fine to
