A cherished dream of two Charlottetown Cadets was realized Friday evening at Prince of Wales College auditor- ium when Group Captain W. H. Swetman, D.S.O., D.F.C.. t'.D.. presented wings to Sergeant Irvin Buell (left) and Flight Sergeant Alan McLeod (right). The two members of the Charlottetown Air Cadet Squadron received their flight training with the Moncton Flying Club last summer.

Teachers Federation

-A meeting of the executive of the Prince Edward Island Teachers Federation was held in the Feder- ation office on Saturday morning. December 4th. at it o'clock.

The newly appointed president. Mr. Elmer Pinaau. Summerside. was in the chair.

The salary committee headed by Mr, John Hughes Montague, was held at the same time and a rough outline of their findings was brought in for the approval of the executive before adjournment.

The probability of giving scholar- ships to one or more teachers to enable them to attend a proposed seminar previous to the annual C. T. F. convention was discussed. This is to be given further study.

Other questions discussed were: The recent proposed changes in the organization's constitution: health scheme for teachers; teachers aid, and payment of fees to the C.'r.F'.
