Mite boxes were handed in, a very satisfactory financial report was given by the treasurer and the election of officers and secretaries of departments took place.
The members, besides holding twelve regular meetings during the year, conducted a church service in July while the minister was on holidays.
The allocation for the year was met, s box. valued at $05. was sent to Labrador and Newfound- land, and a small box was sent to the Sydney Mission to help out with the Christmas treat for the children there. Several of the members had the privilege of listening to and talking with Mrs. Alexander Henderson of the South African General Mission and they were so impressed with her por- sonalitv and hrr account of the work that. lhr-y gave ti’! lo help further the cause of Christ in the part of Africa where Mrs. iicnd- crson and her husband labour.
