Queen Charlotte High had de- feated Charlottetown Rural Reg- ional High 2-0 in the best of three semi-finals. The Queen Charlotte team, under the dir- ection of Alan Andrews entered the finals against Birchwood.

Birchwood jumped to a 20 lead after 11 minutes and 5% seconds on goals by Gauthier and Campbell. Queen Charlotte bounced right back though to score two goals of their own be- fore the 15 minute mark was over.
