_____ The attention of all farmers is directed to an. ‘amendment of the Prince-Edward Island Potato Production Act passed by the Legislature in 1962 whereby all persons planting one-quarter acre or more of potatoes must plant those of the “Cert- :

ified” class or better.

Potato growers are advised to procure their requirements while stocks of seed potatoes- are

available.

~ As many: producers of good seed potatoes are now disposing of their crops on the tablestock

market, it should not be

difficult for all farmers

who grow potatoes to arrange for their seed re-

quirements for this year.

The failure to comply with this regulation will render the grower liable to a minimum fine

of $50.00.
