Tne St. John Sun says:—Large shipments of mutton are being made from this city to Boston by the N. B. Railway. The principal shippers are Messrs. Hayes & Layden, Me Grath Brothers and John McDonald. The shipments last week amounted to between 500 and 600 carcasses. ‘Ihe mutton comes here from P. E. I., but later on in the season the mutten shipped will be confined chiefly to that raised in this Province. Last winter the busi- ness proved large and remunerative and there is every prospect that it will be equally as pro- fitable this year.
