History Society Theme Song

Early in January Clio attended the first History So-

ciety meeting of the second semester. The members had a grand time. They gossiped, displayed their Christmas gifts, and poked fun at the Engineers. Finally the Presi- dent stood up and called the meeting to order. The Secre- tary read the notes from the last meeting. This prompted another wave of chuckles and jokes. discussed the primary objectives of the day. In a few min- utes they composed a History Society theme song. The members stood up and urged Clio to sing their new an- them. Clio stood up and made history.

The first recom- mendation of the Academic Review and Planning Com- mittee was that the faculty position be changed to a full- time position from a_ two- thirds one. No :departmen- tal status would be granted to Fine Arts. This was sent to the Budget Committee.
