Soccer Loss

Alan Spink scored a much— argued about goal in the second half of the AUAA Soccer semi- final this weekend, but it was not allowed due to an offside. The result'was no change in the earlier 1-0 score by Alex Polidaro of Concordia over the UPEl Soccer Panthers. It is regrettable that the Panthers were eliminated this far into the year, but the 2000 - some fans present on that blustery Saturday know that the Pantherx are going to be back -— TOUGH — for next year.

Panthers Trounoe Dalhousie Squad

The UPEl Hockey Panthers fought a winning battle against the Dalhousie Tigers last Sunday at the Forum. The win was cre- dited to the hard work of Greg Gravel who netted the tie-break- ing goal with less than two minutes remaining in the game. Congratulations go to Coach Darrell Young and his “Dal- housie Squad" for a good fight, but it is obvious that Vince Mulligan and his Panthers have what it takes. They will also be playing St. Mary’s Huskies and the St. F.X .X-men over the weekend.

Dave Shellington, Randy Mutart, and Rob Moffat were responsible for the other four goals, while Greg Gravel also scored a goal early in the second period.
