So far as this beiog the case Louis intends (aking part in the bicycle races to be held at Regina on Queen's Birthday, and in order that he may lose no time in beginning training his wheel was shipped tohim to-day. The injuries he received are very slight, and were caused by hisbeing kicked by a broncho.

A Hanpsome Girt.— The young men’s branch of the League of the Cross in this city have received from their spiritual director, Rev. J. F. Jobneton, a mag~ nificent flag which will serve in the future to grace the processions of their eociety. The flag is of purple silk. It bas on one side a beautiful picture of St. Aloysius, the Patron Saint of the Lesgne, and op the other, in silver, a cross with the motto, “In Eoc Signo Vinces,” in this sign theu shaltconquer. The painting of the pic» ture was dove by the Sisters of Notre Dame, Montreal, the other work was done at St. Joseph’s Convent, in this city. The flag is a beautiful one, exquisite in every detail. Father Jobnston takes a great interest in the young men of the Gathedral congregation, and this valuable gift serves only to give greater testimony of bis devo- tion to their welfare.
