PoIsoNeD BY CoRN Beer.—On Friday last, saysa St. John paper, William Nelson, a young man who works in Messrs, Woodman & Miller’s mill, was taken sick in the miil shortly after dinner and soon became so faiut that it was necessary to have him conveyed to his home at Pieasant Point. A doctor was sent for and it was found that the young man had been poisoned by some canned corned beef which he had eaten for his dinner, doctor’s aid he recovered from the bad effects of the beef.
