The meeting opened with devotional exercises led by Miss bouiae Callback. Mrs. Austin Rog- ers welcomed the delegates and Mrs. Norman McMurdo responded.

Rev. B. E. D. Busy Day In Alberlonw Store

Friday was a day at Fraser's store in Albei-ton. In response to

an opportunity to obtain free photographs of their children. parents brought their little ones

from as far as Elmsclale. Ctiscum. pic and Tlgniih. They crowded iii- to the store until it was almost impossible for anyone to move. There were three hundred child- ren belonging id one hundred tain- ilies and all were photographi-:l in six and one half hours, new elec- tronic lighting being used. Early in August the photographer will re- turn with the proofs. A photo of each child will be given free and

parents may purchase any addit- ional number.

Replcacntatiives of this agciicy are covering Canada from coast to coast. To date four travelling photographers have visited ap-

The 24th annual District Con- vention of Malpeque, Darriley, sea view. spring Valley. Baltic' and Hamilton was held in Sea View Hall on Wednesday, July fourth.

The hall was nicely decorated with summer flowers and the dis-

play of handicraft from the dif- fercilt Institutes. The President. Mrs, James E.

Murphy, presided and the after- noon meeting opened at 2.45 p. m. by singing "0 Canada."

The address of welcome was then given by Mrs. John E. Cousins. and was very fittlngly helped by Mrs. liarry Crozier of Darnley. who stresscd the point that it was the W. l.'s privilege today to help the new Canadian.

The Ode was then sung Club Creed repeated in unison.
