Division of North America. Rev. Dr. Alder, Temple, was introduced to the Grand Division. Tae Grand Worthy Patriarch received and welcomed him. He took his position of honor, and, being calied upon, mace a very stirring and excellent address. The reports of the Grand officers were tben read and referred to the proper committees. We cannot be successful unless we do our business in a busivess manver. The time may come when the grand officers will be compelled to remove careless deputies and replace them with better men er women for the success of our cause.

We regret that your attention must be called to the fact that the charter and parapbaoalia of Stanley Division have beem destroyed acvdalike misfortune has over taken «Forest Home” Division. I bave also heard, although not thruugh the de- puty, that -‘Uuion Division” has also had its charter stelen from the Division Room.

Gro Ernest S. Weeks, G. Serioe, was el-cted to re- present the Grand Division atthe Na- tional Division in October next.

It was moved and carried invitation be extended to the Division to meet in Charlottetown in July, 1900. The following resolu ions were unanimously adopted :—

(1.) We exceedingly regret the attitude of the Dominion government in refusing to enact a prohibitory law and deem the answer given by the Premier un- presedented and unsatisfactory.

2.) We condemn in strongest terms the opening of a bonded warehouse at Cardigan in the house of a notorious Seott Act violator, and ask our triends in every part of the province to use their influence with our representatives at Ottawa to have thig glaring wrong speedily recti-
