Former Londoner Ca-ptuii'es A Mile Race At Swim Meet

Gerry Farmer of Charlottetown and formerly of London, England captured the feature mile race in Saturday’s Provincial Swimming Meet held olf Victoria Park. To the winner went the trophy pre- sented by W. Arthur Gaudet.

Trophies also were awarded to Anna Roach and Maurice Lodge for being high point igletters at the annual meet. Swim suits to others taking part were present- ed with the compliments of the Water Safety Services.

The swim meet was sponsored by the Charlottetown Kiwanis Club and was under the super- vision of the Red Cross Water Safety Services. Mrs. Harry Cudmlore and Sinclair Oilfllixfife were in charge of the entries. Brigadier Reid was starter and Wilf Smith, Bill Crockett and

Russell St, John acted as judges.
