WHILE SAINTS’ win was a mild surprise,, the Sultans’ triumph over those Trotters must be classed as a big upset. ~~ The Airmen had won their last two games over Saint Dun-— stan’s and Charlottetown Y.M.C.A. but both games had been on their own floor. The win over the ‘Y’ was an overtime affair and ewas certainly not one that could be the couse of any braggine. This one at P.W.C., however, is the kind of a triumph that the Sultans can really crow over. They held & one point lead at half time and went out in the final session and outpointed the Trotters by seven.

The Airmen’s win should give other teams new hope of up-} setting the classy Charlottetown outfit. It’s a big job to do at anytime’ but now the Sultans have proved that it can be done. Others will be trying desperately to duplicate. the Airmen’s feat.

We don’t expect it to be duplicated very often.

Our discussion on’ National League activty is being made with the presumption that the Canucks would win this one. The -way things are happening we could be away out but we'll go along with the Wings losing this one aiid ‘talk of things in this light.
