At a parliamentary election in South Warwickshire last week, Mr. Lloyd, Con. servative, was elected by a mejority of 1,179 to succced Gilbert Henry Chandos Leigh, who permhed some weeks ago by failing over a precipice in the Rocky Moun- tains.
