l Birch Hill Man Killed On Road In Traffic Accident

Allan Jenkins. 62-year-old Birch Hill farmer was killed around 8230 last evening on the new Trans - Canada Highway about one-quarter of a mile south of his home.

Mr. Jenkins is believed to have been proceeding toward his home located near the Birch Hill Church of Scotland at the time the accident ocurrcd.

WASHINGTON (AP) - United States today gave Russia permis- sion to fly two of its new jet passenger planes to New York in September.

The Soviet planes, TU-104 trans- ports, will bring the Soviet dele- gation to the United Nations Gen- eral Assembly session.

The nights were authorised for Sept. 3-7 and Sept. 13-17.
