Miss Barb Mullaly would like

to extend a warm welcome to all freshman girls, as well as all 'retum—

ing girls with an invitation to par- ticipate in the excellant intramural program which the department has to offer. Contrary to what you may think about intramurals, you do not need to have any previous experience to participate. The pur-

pose of the program, states Barb, is to provide recreation for the

student in an atmosphere where she is able to learn a new skill or improve on an existing one if this is her desire.

It is the hope of the department [that the number of students in- volved in the program will be large, because only in this way can there be a truly successful program. Therefore the department urges an to get involved in your program.
