B, the Commissioner of Public Lands for Prince Edward Island, under the authority ofan Act of the General Assembly. passed in the twenty-eighth year of the reign of Her present Majesty, intituled “ An Act to assist leasefiolders in the purchase of the fee-simple of their farms,” in consuleration ot' the sum of , of lawful current money ofthe said Island, to me in hand, paid by C. 1)., of the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; and also in further consideration of the sum of to be paid (if bearing interest, say “ with interest”) by the said C. 1)., in manner and at the times speci- fied and set forth in the memorandum thereof, on the other side hereof, written and signed by the said 0. 1)., and according to the terms and provisions of the said recited Act, have granted, bargained, re- leased and corfirmed,and by these presents do grant, bargain, release and confirm unto the said O. 1)., his heirs and assigns, all that (here describe the premises sold) together will all and singular the rights, privileges, easements, advantages and ap- purtenances whatsoever, to the said land and pre- inises belonging, or in anywise appertaining, or therewith now or heretofore holden, used, and en- joyed; to have and to hold the said (briefly specify the premises), with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, hereby granted and released unto the said 0. 1)., his heirs and assigns, to the only proper use and behoof of the said C. 1)., his heirs and as- signs forever, and to no other use, intent or purpose whatsoever, as fully, amply and beneficially as the original grantee or grantees thereof,fr0m the Crown, were possessed of the same, or entitled thereto; subject, nevertheless, to the payments to be made in respect thereof, as set forth in the said memo- randum on the other other side hereof written, and to be enforced as in the said recited Act set forth.

Memorandum that the amount for which the land and premises within described and released have been sold to the within named C. 1) , is the sum of of lawful money of Prince Edward Island, whereof the sum of hath been paid as within mention— ed, and the balance thereof being (here state amount unpaid) with interest at the rate of six pounds per ccntum-per annum, troin this is to be paid at the times and in the manner following, that is to say, (here set out the periods of payment, and the amount ofprincipal and interest to be paid at each period) and the land,and premises within described and re- leased, are taken; subject to such payments as aforesaid, the same being a specific lien and charge on the said land and premises,as in the within recited Act ofthe twenty-eighth year ofthe reign of Queen Victoria, intituled (here set out the title of this Act) is set forth, and to be enforced in manner as in the said Act is mentioned.
