Fraak Stewart Dickey, a member of the Ottawa cricket team, suicided at the Queen Hotel on Saturday evening by firing two shots from a revolver into his brains. He was a son of Senator Dickey.

James Chapman, of Thornhuil, wa found lying on the road in front of a v ‘lage hotel with a terrible wound on his head. Every- thing possible was done for the wounded man, but he died Monday. A short time previous to his being found Chapman was heard quarrelling with some other men, who it is alleged assaulted him and gave him the injuries which resulted in his death. The case will be investigated.
