BRIDGES WINS 10TH GAME

Tommy Bridges pitched the Tigers to a 6-1 victory over Boston Red Sox at Detroit and at the same time stretched his winning streak to nine straight games. It was his 10th vic- tory of the season‘ to three defeats.
