Girls Intramural sports have been on the go since Christmas break, under the direction of Barb Mullally. Representatives from Marion Hall, Ber- nardine Hall, City, and Montgomery Hall participate in the weekly activities.

On Monday nights, volleyball is the name of the game, play beginning at six o’clock. The stand- ings as of this week are: Monty Hall 25, Bernardine 15, Marion 5, Bernardine No. 2 5, Bernardine No. 3 5. Turnout for these games is not strong due to lack of transportation and perhaps spirit.

On Tuesday nights, badminton and basketball

take the limelight. In badminton, there are five single teams and eleven doubles. Monty Hall leads with sixty-five points followed by Bernardine with forty-four points. The City girls are next with three, Marion Hall tallying minus nine. Basketball begins at eight o’clock with four teams represented. The City girls lead with thirty-five points, Bernar- dine Hall second with twenty-five. Monty Hall has

‘ten and Bernardine Hall No. 2 has a minus ten.

Bernardine Hall girls have been fighting to keep their heads above water due to lack of par- ticipation by some team members. Due to default, the girls are down: forty-five points after winning thirty-seven games, fourteen games ahead of the other teams. With this sad note, I end. Girls — sports are fun and good exercise, so we hope to see you next Monday and Tuesday nights.
