Jerry and Mrs. Jerry Muskrat are very fond of corn when they can get it. but that is seldom. They live mostly on the roots of water-lilies. cattails. and other rushes. and on the stems of these as well. You see. they do not like Is go far from water. Away from water they feel unsafe.
