Islanders Take Fast Game 4-2 From Hawks But Win is costly

Hawks came to life in the sec- ond and held Islanders on even terms. The first Moncton goal came at 1:10 while George Mc- Lugan of Islanders was serving a two-minute penalty.

Half-way through the tiilrd Hawks again broke into the scor- ing after oulpiaylng Islanders and Kennedy reduced 1slanders' lead to one goal.

Hawks continued to press the attack and with only seconds re- maining. Smith broke down the centre for an unassisted goal.
