Each number was exceptionally well done, showing the careful training on the part of the teach- er and the cooperation of the pup; iis.

The New Glasgow Auxiliary of the W. M.S met at the home of Mrs. Melvin McLeod on January om. Mrs. Warfield Orr was the devotional leader, opening with hymn "O God Our Help In Ages 1-ast".

Scripture lesson Ephesians 3. yerses 14-31, followed by prayer. Three verses of "Take My Life And Let It Be" were sung and Psalm 115 was read in unison.

The president then tool: charge and minutes of the previous meet- ing were read and adopted as read. Roll call was answered by seven members, one associate member and two visitors. ' Mrs. R. W. Stevenson then read. "We Belong to God", and Mrs. Andrew read an article, "How May I Teach Temperance More Effect- ively". Mrs. Edwin Stevenson read "can He Come".

Mrs. Melvin McLeod put on a iery interesting contest. "Books of

read a letter re delegates to the Presbyterial and Mrs. Foster Sel- iar and Miss Anne Stevenson were appointed as delegates. A commit- tee was appointed to meet with a committee from the Christian Church and Anglican Churches, to make arrangements for the World Day of Prayer. They are Miss Ann Stevenson. Mrs. Edwin Stevenson and Mrs. B. Andrew.

It was decided a new secretary's book and World Day of Prayer program should be purchased. The following is a report of the Com- munity Friendship Secretary: Five letters of thanks received, two cards sent. four calls in hospital and twenty-three in homes.
