Figures show, says the report, the first advance in the wholesale price index since August 1, 1029; increased output of hydro-electric- ity: a continued upward swing in industrial and public utility com- mon stocks on Canadian markets and increased production of coal. petroleum and other minerals.

The report states the most favor- able factor was the upswing in wholesale prices, recording advances in grain values and in iron and “Vi! products, in electrolytic cop- per, lead. silver, tin and zinc. ’
