French Senate Rejects Bill On Nuclear Arms

COLOMBO lAP‘ — Ceylon‘s Parliament which voted no con- fidence in the government of Prime Minister Mrs. Sirimavo Bandaranaike last Thursday will be dissolved Dec. 17.

The government announced the. date Wednesday night and fixed Jan. 15 for nominations for new Parliament to be elected March 24.

The defeat of Mrs. Bandara- naike and her cabinet was by only one vote. The showdown climaxes several months of azi- tation by Buddhist leaders and the main opposition parties against what have been de- scribed as "dictatorial trends."
