St. Marks AYPA Holds Meeting

The regular meeting of the St. Mark's A.Y.P.A. was held in the Parish Hall, Feb 3rd. In the ab- §ence of president, the vice pres- ident presided.

The meeting opened with hymn 412 followed by prayers. The scripture reading Luke 12. 42-48 being the parable of the faith- ful and unfaithful servants. Ar- rangements were-made for a Val- entine Social to beheld Feb. 17. Three members paid their fees.

It was decided to attend a soc- ial evening in Hunter River, Feb. 5th. The treasurer Lorne Adams gave his report. Collection was; taken. Roll call was answered by twenty members, two visitors.

Lunch was served by commit- tee. followed by a Debate enjoy- ed by all.

Mrs. W. Eric Ingraham was hostess to the members of . St. Mark’s Church Guild, Kensmg- ton at the January meeting, With the president, Mrs. Turner pre- siding.

50 was received at the meeting. Four debentures to the amount of $200 had been paid at the end of the year. \ -

The members planned to begin work for the’Easter Bazaar. In a discussion on money making possibilities, Mrs. Ingraham of- fered the use of the rectory for a parlor social and the matter was set aside for further sonsider- ation by the executive.

It. was moved by Mrs. Lester Champion, seconded by Mrs. E1. mer Paynter that the next meet- ing be held in the hall on Feb- ruary 11, under the convener- ship of Mrs. McInnis, évery one to bring something for a potluck supper and to invite one or more a charge of 75 Cents to be made for supper. It was decided to hold a pantry sale in near future. Meeting closed with prayer, cof- tee, sandwiches and sweets were served by the hostess.
