MVP: Shaquille O’Neal, Magic. The addition of Horace Grant means Shaq won’t be subject to constant triple teaming inside, allowing him to work on his offensive game and not have to worry about clearing every carom off the glass. OTHERS: Scottie Pippen, Bulls; Reggie Miller, Pacers; Patrick Ewing, Knicks; Kenny Anderson, Nets.

MIP: Gheorghe Muresan, Bullets. The 7’7 Romanian has muscled up, while dropping 10 pounds which improves his foot speed. He will vastly improve on his rookie stats and should be a force to be reckoned with in the paint. OTHERS: Lee Mayberry, Bucks; Anfernee Hardaway, Magic; Chris Mills, Cavs; Dino Radja, Celtics; Matt Geiger, Heat; Lindsey Hunter, Pistons.

ROY: Grant Hill, Pistons. Hill is a talented 3 position player who’ll get major minutes due to Detroit’s lack of a small forward. He should have an excellent first year, with his balanced floor game. OTHERS: Glenn Robinson, Bucks. The fact that the Big Dog hasn’t signed yet will put him ata disadvantage right away, it’ll take him a while before he becomes accustomed to the rigors of the NBA. 1) Indiana Pacers: Mark ‘‘Action’’ Jackson (10.9, 8.6.apg) answers the Pacers glaring need at point guard...the Davis boys (Dale and Antonio) are one of the best duos at power forward in the league...they gained a lot of valuable experience in the playoffs last year 2) Charlotte Hornets: Injuries hurt them last year, and once again are taking their toll... Alonzo Mourning (21.5, 10.2) was nurs- ing a bad toe in the preseason and Larry Johnson (16.4) suffered a stress fracture in his foot...newcomer Michael Adams will boost their perimeter game

3) Cleveland Cavaliers: their position is based on potential.. .if Brad Daughtery (17, 10.1) is healthy, and they find a replacement for the injured Gerald Wilkins they’ll be dangerous 4) Chicago Bulls

***Men’s hockey also takes on UNB that weekend, playing Saturday night at 7:00 PM, and then on Sunday at 2:00 PM, both games at the Civic Centre.

UPEI/Tradewinds Intramural Report

It’s volleyball in a small room, otherwis’ known as Wallyball, and it’s great fun! Looking fot something fun to do Remberance Day weekend, até be physically active at the same time? The Wallyball is your answer. It will be held on Satu day November 12th, beginning at noon. There wil be co-ed four person teams, with games to 21.
