Latest advices from Boston are as follows :— The general tone of the market on mackerel is easy ; demand is very fairly supplied. The shore fleet have done nothing of importance fer the past week as tho weather has been thick and rainy. Potatoes —There is no sound Provincial stock here; all the Early Rose’s received are more or less rotten, and are sold at 20c to 60c per bushel according to their condition. The market is therefore, very un settied, and only cold weather will stop the rot and establish rates. Our domestic stock brings from 60c. to 65c. per bushel. Good, sound potatoes are wanted. Eggs—Fresh good stock can readily be placed at 25c. per dozen
