Another Mining Disaster.

The debris closed the outlet for the miners in the interior of the mine making repairs, entombing five. It is not kuown when these outside will be able to reach these men, but it believed they are alldead, The Nottingham shait was the greatest anthracite coal mine in the world, and is nearly a wreck.

Margaret’s Bay, has. caused awritto be issued in the Supreme Coum against Andrew Dauphinee, a well-known wealthy farmer of the same place for $200 for breach of promise of marriage, The man in

uestion not only promised to marry Miss Burgoyne, but went so far as to secure a mar riage license. Since Dauphinee’s refusa! to marry the girl he has married another woman. The cause of separation is understood to be a family quarrel in which the parents of Dau- phinee are said to have played a prominent part. The young lady, who is very pretty, is 22 years of age.
