Discriminating tastes of the Canadian consumer are being pampered — even to the shade of yellow of egg yolks.

Though the color of the yolk has no effect on the food value of the egg. many people find a pale yellow yolk unappetizlng and others object to a dark yel- low color.

With this in mind, the Poul- try Products Division of the Canada Department of Agricul- turo has come up with a yolk color chart which may yet come a standard in the indus—
