Dr. Jenkins who was sent by the Island Advivery Board to St. Jobn, met the Com- mission on Tuesday, the 7th inst., and ex- plained his mismon. Dr. Jenkins spoke for some time on the o!jections to the arrangement of the Prize List and suggested certain ameudments,

ENLARGING THE PKIZE LIST.

The committee appointed at the meeting of the Commission to confer with Dr. Jeukins, of Charlottetown, met at the Royal Hotel the same evening, and after a protracted session, decided to recommend several additions to the prize list to satisfy the Prince Eo ward Island people. Althouyi all that De Jenkins askea on behalf of the Island was not granted, he expressed him- self as satislied with the additions made, and thonght they would, ina measure, con ciliate the Island and materially enlarge the exhibit from that province. The addi- tional cost fer prizes will be $400. The following are the additions decidea on: —
