Northeete vs. Bright. Lonpox, June 19.

_in the House of Commons Sir Stafford Northcote called the attention of the Gov ernment to the speech of Mr. John Bright in which Mr. Bright referred to the Con. servative Party in a most insulting manner, Mr. Bright was alleged to say that the Con servatives formed the obstructionist party in the House, and that they were allied with Irish rebels te delay the business of the country. Mr. Bright replied in a vigorous speech to Sir Stafford. He de- fended the language used on the occasion and said that his statement was justifiable and borne out by facts.
