PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that His Majesty‘s Supreme Court ofJudicat ure,Court of Assize, and General Gaol Deliver , for this Island, will be held at Charlotte- own, on Tuesda the Thirtieth of October next, at the hour 0 ten o’clock forenoon of the same day— ofwhich all Justices, Coroners, High and Pet- ty Constables and Bailifl's within this Island will take notice, and laying aside all manner ofbusiness and excuses whatsoever, be then and there to do and fulfil those things which by reason of their several offices shall be to be done. Given under my hand, at Charlotte-Town, in the Island Prince Edward, this 24th day of September, 1832.

R. HUJVT-S STOJIUICHIC MIXTURE. The Proprietor ofthis Medicine offers his services to the afflicted ; particularly in affec- tions of the Stomach, as DySpepsia, Cardialgia, cotnmonlycalled heart burn,Py rosis, or Water- brash, 81.0. and in Asthmatic affections, Incipi- ent Phthisis, Fevers, &c.

The result of long observation has led him to this conclusion. viz. that those persons whose powers of assimilation are eafeebled (no matter from who! cause,) must by rapid strides advance towards a diseased state in some of its varieties.

Premising thus, he begs leave to observe, after repeated trials, he is convinced, that, (if there be a specific medians for any disease) his chemical Stomachic Mixture approaches the nearest to one ofany he is at present vauaint- ed with.

It is not necessary to explain how, by apply- ing a remedy at onCe safe and efficacious to those suffering under Dyspepsia, Heart-burn, 'ir any similar affection the complaint disap. pears.

It is not necessary to say, why the morning sickness [fir present to that degree requiring the aid 0 medicine) caused by s 'mpathy with other parts of the system, is reiieved by the Chemical Stomachic Draught. Nor why it removes indigestion and afoourse sweetens the breath ; the fact of its giving reliefin nineteen cases out of twenty, is a sufiicient testimony of its merits.

Neither is it necessary to reiterate, wh that sort of colapse, sooften ex erienced by t e vo- taries ofBacchus, (known ycertain tremulous motions, head-ache, want of appetite, and real Debilit ,) is relieved, and disappears after ta- king a ose ofthe Chemical Stomachic Mixture but it may be necessary to say, as a Febrifuge Medicine it bears a palm.

ln casesof Fever, where hot and dry skin, white tongue, and thirst are present, by adding a single grain of the powder of Ipecacuanha to three uid drains (about three tea spoonfuls) of the Chemical Stomachic Mixture and diluted with tepid water, and taken at intervals of from three to six hours the most beneficial ef- fects may be expected from it, while toast wa-

The Dose of the Chemical Stomachic mixture is, for an Adult, one large table-spoonful, dilu- ted with water, orsyrup and water, to be taken

in the morning.

If to the dose of the Chemical Stomachic Mixture, diluted as before, a table-spoonful of wine be added, it converts the draught into one of the most valuable sudorifics that can be used in fevers, for this potent reason, it causes dia- phoresis without inducing exhaustion.

Moreover the proprietor,can with confidence recommend this mixture, as one of the best Vertnifoges (worm medicines) extant. Ifa tea- spoonful of this Medicine be added to a table- spoonful of water, and administered to a child, suspected to have worms, every other morning for eight or ten da 5. The unpleasant symp- toms attending t em, particularly the bad breath, pain in the stomach, irregular appetite, the short dry cough, and the almost daily fever, all vanish.—In this repect, the Mixture is a valuable family Medicine, particularly to those residing at a distance from Medical assistance.
