Jn Wednesday, September 25th, Marion Hall held its first House Party of the year. The Hippy Jocks tabbed their guitars and entertained the crowd for ibout an hour then DJ Fuzzy took over. The House ommittee made about $70.00 after everything was said and done while everyone else enjoyed a great me.

lere was a softball tournament held at UPEI on turday, September 28th and 12 Marion Hallers with Jernardine Hallers answered the challenge. They eat the team from the Barn by ascore of 7 to 6, but

they lost to the team from the AVC, 6 to 5. Good try team!

Various Residence Staff and AHouse Committee Executives spent Saturday, September 28th and will spend this Saturday, October 5th learning the fine art of First Aid and CPR from the Canadian Red Cross. The rest of the Residence Staff will be taking a re- fresher course in the very near future so we will be certified (for First Aid and CPR!) and you will be well taken care of. (We hope!)

The Residence Manager and Staff would like to wel- come the two new Head Residents to their respective positions - Sue Griffiths, Bernardine Hall and George MacMillan, Marion Hall. Also, the Residence Staff would like to welcome Cathy Ronahan to hernew position as Resdence Manager and wish her good luck and much success in the upcoming year. Then there’s me. I’m Judy Squires and I’m Cathy’s Student As- sistant for this year. I hope to keep all students unformed of what’s going on in the residences this year. We plan to have a great time!
